BGC is targeting about 15% revenue growth in 2026 and expects its aluminium packaging segment, alongside a recovery in domestic consumption and tourism, to drive it, according to Aluminium Today.

Deal terms and financing

Toyo Seikan Group Holdings' board resolved on 27 February to transfer part of the BCM shares held by its subsidiary Toyo Seikan to BGC, reducing its voting rights from 13,482,000 (74.9%) to 8,820,000 (49.0%). BCM has registered capital of THB1.8bn.

Toyo Seikan scheduled the transfer for 30 April 2026. MarketScreener records the purchase as completed at the end of April, and BGC and its partners now hold 51% of BCM.

Market context

BCM, based in Pathum Thani north of Bangkok, makes and sells beverage cans and can ends. Toyo Seikan's board first approved talks in August 2023 on selling part of its BCM stake to Bangkok Glass PCL.
