Why Advaya Capital (Flix Buyer Inc.) is buying Comscore Movies and Hollywood Software

Advaya said returning to the Rentrak name reflects a return to the service and innovation that built the platform, and that it plans to engage with studios, distributors and theatres on improvements.

The base price is subject to customary adjustments. Comscore used part of the proceeds to repay in full about $40.1m under its financing agreement with Blue Torch Finance.

Regulatory approvals and timing

The sale was signed and completed on the same day, according to Comscore's filing.
