Why Telenor ASA is buying Enivest AS

Telenor expects significant synergies over time, mainly from upselling and cross-selling its wider product range, including digital security and entertainment services, to Enivest customers. Enivest will continue as a separate company with its management team unchanged.

Deal terms and financing

The deal includes Enivest's fibre network and a 34% stake in Årdalsnett, which has about 3,000 customers. Enivest's EBITDA is expected to grow about 12% in 2026. Telenor plans to invest about NOK150m over time in integration and network upgrades. Before the deal Enivest was owned mainly by Eviny (55.8%) and SFE (40.3%), with smaller holdings by Tussa IKT, its chief executive and two municipalities.

Regulatory approvals and timing

The acquisition is subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority and was expected to close in 2026.

Market context

Founded in 2001, Enivest has about 50 employees based in Førde, Sogndal, Florø, Stryn and Sunnhordland. Telenor earlier agreed to buy GlobalConnect's Norwegian consumer fibre business.
