Why Kinderhook Industries is buying Enhabit, Inc.

Enhabit's chief executive Barb Jacobsmeyer said private ownership would provide resources for long-term investment in staff, clinical quality and innovation without the short-term pressures of public markets. Kinderhook said home-based care was a long-standing focus and that it would back management to expand access.
