Why Henkel AG & Co. KGaA is buying ATP adhesive systems AG

Henkel said the deal would expand its Adhesive Technologies offering beyond liquid adhesives into tapes and bring expertise in hotmelt and solvent-based polymer tapes. More than 90% of ATP's portfolio uses water-based technologies with a low carbon footprint, which Henkel said fits its sustainability targets.
